The troop meeting Thursday, 8/2 will be at the usual time and place (7:30 at the hall).  Subject will be fishing (in preparation for the next trip and supporting the requirements for fishing MB for the younger few who don’t already have it).  Warm-up: casting accuracy competition.  Game: dodge.  I have 8X10 team pictures for everyone who went to summer camp.

The troop leadership counsel (the boy officers) meets Sunday at the hall at 7:30 PM. Assistant Scoutmasters and past masters are welcome.  Any boy who wants to have a hand in planning the detailed activities for August and September is also welcome.

At my prompting, the troop committe thought that it would be good to have the 7/26 meeting be a fishing trip on boats owned by adult members.  Please come to tonight’s meeting with an idea of how many would like to go.  This is not hard to pull off, but we do need to know who’s going.  Probably because of vacations, I have not heard from any parents who’d like to go.  If any parents would like to go, please e-mail.

1.  Troop meeting is Thursday at 7:30 PM at the Church hall.  Prepare
for Canoe trip, Throw rope competition, dodge ball.

2. Adults and boys, please reply if you are going on the canoe trip
this weekend.  I want to get a jump on getting adult food together and
Mr. Larry and I need to wrangle canoes.

SPL call the patrol leaders, patrol leaders call your guys.
